My Community-Penrith is a community project focused on creating a better place for people with and without a learning disability to live in Penrith. Our area is one of only nine chosen by Mencap to work with the community. We work with the community to create a better place for people with learning disabilities and their families live a fulfilling life.
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to live a fulfilling life, regardless of their abilities, and we are committed to making this a reality in Penrith.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create a more inclusive and accessible community for people with learning disabilities and everybody in Penrith. We do this by working with the community to raise awareness, provide resources, and promote understanding and acceptance.
Our Vision
Our vision is a community where everyone can live a fulfilling life, regardless of their abilities. We strive to create a world where people with learning disabilities are valued, respected, and included.
