October's Poet of the month.

Celebrating Black History Month and Down Syndrome Awareness Month

This October, we are celebrating the work of Oneness Sankara, an award-winning poet, writer and performer, and her son Apedemak (Peddy), who has Trisomy 21, more commonly known as Down syndrome. [simonandschuster.com], [youtube.com]

Together, they have created a powerful poem about the importance of using words for good. Their message encourages us to choose language that is kind, respectful, and inclusive, recognising the impact our words can have on others.

You can find out more about Oneness Sankara and her work here:

We are delighted to share and celebrate their creativity during both Black History Month and Down Syndrome Awareness Month. ❤️🖤💛💙

Christmas Poem

Good tidings, one and all

Come to Christmas

and celebrate all

All good tidings and good gifts

and good giftings

The table is set come and eat

It is the birth of God after all
